Health & Safety Protocols
Frankfort, IL Family Dentist
Your Health and Safety is Our Top Priority
A top priority of our dental team has always been to preserve and protect your health and safety. As always, we continue to follow all guidelines set forth by OSHA and the ADA in order to provide a clean, safe environment in which to protect your health, both oral and otherwise.
Some of our key precautionary measures include:
Hand Hygiene and Pre-Screening
Proper handwashing is one of the most important measures our team takes to prevent the spread of infection. For all procedures, we wash our hands thoroughly with water and hand soap upon entering and leaving each treatment room. We ask our patients to hand sanitize upon entering our office, put on gloves, and then have their temperature taken. Both staff and patients are pre-screened for Covid-19 symptoms, prior to entering the practice.
Sterilization and Disinfection of Patient-Care Items and Devices All Instruments and equipment used during your care are always sterilized and disinfected to CDC specifications. This ensures proper infection control and the health of our patients and staff. Every item used is opened fresh from a sterilized packet or is a brand-new disposable item.
The Use of a Waterline Treatment System
Our team uses a waterline treatment system to disinfect the water in our dental delivery units.
Aerosol Extraction Units/Air Purifiers: Our Commitment to Clean Air
We have new aerosol extraction units that help reduce aerosols during procedures. We utilize Surgically Clean Air throughout our office, which destroys airborne pollutants by utilizing proprietary HEPA-Rx, Carbon, and UV light filters. Oral health is a crucial component to your overall wellbeing, and that includes the air you breathe. Air Purifiers are also stationed and running in each treatment room as well as our reception room
Common touchpoints, including seating, workspaces, door handles, railings, and restrooms are sanitized after each patient by our team with effective cleaning solutions certified to kill viruses.
Thank you for your continued trust and confidence in our team. We look forward to taking care of you at your next appointment and wish you and your family the very best.
